Advocay + Support + Guidance
ASSIST Volunteers and project workers provide support to anyone over the age of 18 years in Cherry Willingham, Fiskerton, and Reepham and West Lindsey villages to the North and East of Lincoln such as Welton, Dunholme, Nettleham, Sudbrooke and Scothern.
HOW WE WORK
1-2-1 Support. Our volunteers work alongside people who need encouragement, friendship or advice to help them get through a difficult time because of depression, bereavement, breakdown in family relationships or other stress full life event.
The Gathering Place is open every Wednesday in term-time from
1.00 pm - 3.00 pm at the Vine Centre (library) in Cherry Willingham. It is a place where you can simply breathe and relax, We provide free refreshments and snacks. If you need to talk then we'll be there for you, and if you don't feel like talking, we'll honour your need for quiet reflection. Arts & crafts, guided meditations, relaxing exercises and are available each week.
Cherry Chums provides structured support group for people with dementia and their carers at the Vine Centre
